Contribution analyzes CMMI processes in software development and the conflict with agile/lean approach. It is known that CMMI highlights especially waterfall model, on the contrary, more and more companies use agile techniques like SCRUM, however, they still need to keep a chance to be successful during CMMI assessments. Based on experiences from the company CN Group, authors suggests how to set up a compromise solution and how to adopt agile framework in quality management system compatible with CMMI, level 3.
